I grew up in the 50s in Studio City. I remember a small amusement park right on Ventura Blvd complete with Ferris wheel. (a small one).
If this video collage had the Sportsman's Lodge - a place with a man-made lake where they'd let you rent a fishing pole to catch trout - it would be perfect. It had a rustic little bldg there. Don't know if it is still there but in the 70s and 8o0s there was a large hotel there.
